We believe in Entrepreneurship!
Entrepreneurship is the backbone of the economy and the fact that African entrepreneurs are at a 70% risk of failure is very disconcerting because, for every SME that fails, Africa loses an opportunity to break generational cycles of poverty.
We invest our best energies and resources in the development of an enabling entrepreneurship ecosystem for tech startups and traditional small-medium enterprises in Sub-Saharan Africa. We offer training and mentorship to assist entrepreneurs in developing viable business models, managing and scaling their businesses successfully, as well as, assessing and identifying market potential- particularly within the AfCFTA.
We host a wide range of networking events to increase founders’ visibility and social capital. Our overarching goal is to de-risk startups and SMEs and increase the confidence of investors and financial institutions in African entrepreneurs. Youth under the age of 35 make up more than 70% of Africa’s population – half of whom are women. By building sustainable, scalable and investable youth and women owned businesses, we not only harness Africa’s demographic dividend but increase our continent’s share of the world’s economy, remediate its debt risk and most importantly, improve the livelihoods of our people.
